REVIEW HIGHLIGHTS
5.0 star rating

Really positive first project experience.

This was my first leather project and I really enjoyed it. I know it's not perfect, but it was a great challenge and am happy with how it turned out. I scaled down the pattern to fit me and after cutting one out, I realized there wasn't room for both the oval and the scales to look nice, so I made another without the oval in the center. I love Chuck's videos and I felt like I could follow along. I'm really happy with how this turned out. I'm an actual archer though, and this is more of a costume piece, but I now have all kinds of ideas for changes to make when I do another arm guard. :) This will be the first of many, many, many projects for me.
