Leather Axe Sheath

In this video, we will be making an ax sheath for a common hatchet. Chuck starts by showing how to make the pattern and since axes come in all shapes and sizes, you can create your own pattern using these same steps. The sheath is made from veg tan leather that is dyed using Fiebing's Pro Dye and features a snap closure. The sheath is hand-stitched using Ritza Tiger Thread and a saddler's stitch.
