Designed specifically for items that require lots of detail work, this leather is the perfect canvas for holsters. Featuring the same tanning process as Tooling Leather, CHAHINLEATHER® (04-530S) with the addition of dye, the color of this leather pops with just a coat of oil. The flesh side of this hide is smooth and clean, ensuring all sides of your project have a professional look.

Difference

Veg tanned the old-fashioned way using a tightly-controlled process that utilizes tree bark and other natural tannins, this leather won’t corrode metal, making it ideal for holsters and knife sheaths. On average, veg tanned hides undergo a one to three-month process that results in exceptional beauty and workability.
